Q. Who is eligible?

A. This policy is only available to UK Residents aged 65 or under at date of departure. A UK Resident is defined as someone who has their main home in the UK, or who commences their journey from and returns to the UK

Q. Your premiums appear very competitive.Is there a catch?

A. Not at all.The main reason why the premiums are so competitive is that the whole process is paperless. The saving, through not having to print and post certificates, is passed on to you the customer.

Q. Do you accept payment by methods other than card eg; cheque?

A. No, only credit card and SWITCH payments are accepted, again it saves everyone money.

Q. After I have submitted my card details and received an electronic covernote do I receive a paper certificate through the post?

A. No.Your covernote, which includes your unique reference number and all the phone numbers you may need, is copied to the claims staff. Their contact details are on the covernote. A full copy of the policy document can be downloaded from the site.

Q. What is your definition of "family"?

A.Two adults (not necessarily married) and two, three or four children under 18 on commencement date of policy. The children can be from a previous marriage.

Q. What is your definition of "Couple"?

A. Two adults not necessarily married (and can be the same sex) - there's no need to be cohabiting either.

Q. What Wintersports are covered?

A.Skiing, snowboarding and skating. Skiing and snow boarding on and off-piste. Off-piste skiing is covered provided you are accompanied by an official guide.

Q. What Winter sports are specifically excluded?

A.Ski jumping, skiboard or skibob racing. Use of skeletons or bobsleighs,snow rafting, heli-skiing, ski acrobatics, ski joreing ice hockey and any form of power assisted skiing or the use of snow mobiles except as provided by the recognised piste authorities for transport to and from areas designated for recreational skiing.
